How we approach water resistance testing
Water resistance is not permanent. Gaskets age, crowns wear, and prior openings can affect the seal. A rating on the dial does not guarantee current protection.
We inspect relevant sealing points and can test eligible watches. No test makes a watch permanently waterproof; periodic checks remain important.

- The watch and any loose parts
- When the problem began and whether it followed impact or moisture
- Any known repair history or manufacturer guidance
